IMP Information about the competition

1. Name of event : Atlanta Icon (Dance)

2. Type of event : In-person Dance Competition organized by Pujari Atlanta

3. Dates of Event : March 22nd, 2025 (Saturday) starts at 1.00 PM (Solo and Group Dance)

4. Venue: Alpharetta Library Auditorium : 10 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, GA 30009

5. Event Restrictions : Event is restricted to residents of Georgia, USA ONLY

7. Program Advisor : Atlanta Icon Advisory Board

8. Groups (Solo):

   1. Group A – Children up to 8 Yrs.

   2. Group B – Children 9-16 Yrs.

   3. Group C – anyone 16 Yrs.+

9. Groups (Group Dance):

   1. Group GA – Children up to 13 Yrs.

   2. Group GB – 13 Yrs and above

10. 8. Attractive prizes will be given to competition winners in all categories in addition to recognition in Pujari and international media. Also, 1st prize Winners will be given a chance to perform live at Pujari Baisakhi on 19th April 2025.

11. Participation fees :

    1. Pujari members : $15

    2. Non-members : $25

12. Registration must be completed by 1st of Mar 2025

13. Payment should be made by Zelle at pr@pujari.org by 8th of Mar 2025

IMP Rules and Regulations:

** Maximum time limit for a performance : up to 3 mins
** You must use Audio Tracks ( in mp3 format ONLY) of your choice. You must mail the track to atlantaicon@pujari.org
** No Smule or Video tracks will be allowed
** All participants MUST email their track to atlantaicon@pujari.org by 15th March 2025
** Participants must be ready (with costumes and props) on their own at the time of the performance. Green room/changing room may not be available at the venue
** judges’ decisions are final
** registration fee is non-refundable
** If anyone is late, he/she will have to wait for the judge’s call.
** any other rules (if any) will be communicated before the competition
** Winners’ names will be declared in pujari Web and FB page. Prize distribution will be held on 11th May 2024 at Pujari Baisakhi Mela.
