Information about the competition

1. Name of event : Atlanta Icon (Singing)

2. Type of event : In-person Singing Competition organized by Pujari Atlanta

3. Dates of Event : 1st April 2023 (Saturday) Between 10.30am-2.30pm

4. Venue: Sharon Forks Library – Meeting Room Side A / Address :2820 Old Atlanta Rd, Cumming, Ga, 30041

5. Event Restrictions : Event is restricted to residents of Georgia, USA ONLY

6. Program Directors : Debasri Dutta and Piya Sengupta

7. Program Advisor: Richa Sarkar

8. Groups:

   1. Gr. A – Children up to 8 Yrs.

   2. Gr. B – Children 9-16 Yrs.

   3. Gr. C – anyone 17 Yrs.+

9. Attractive prizes will be given to competition winners in all categories in addition to recognition in Pujari and international medias

10. Participation fees :

    1. Pujari members : $5

    2. Non-members : $10

11. Payment should be made by Zell at pr@pujari.org by 25^th of March 2023

12. Registration must be completed by 25^th of March 2023

Rules and Regulations:

** Languages : Bengali and Hindi
** Maximum time limit for a song : 3 mins
** You can use Karaoke Audio Tracks ( in mp3 format ONLY). You have to mail the track to atlantaicon@pujari.org
** You may also want to use Electronic Tanpura, Harmonium or keyboards but NO other musical accompaniment will be allowed.
** No Smule or Video tracks will be allowed
** All participants MUST email their track to atlantaicon@Pujari.org by 25^th of March
** Judges’ s decisions are final
** Individual performances only
** Registration fee is non refundable
** Microphones, electronic tanpura and mp3 player and notation stand will be will be provided by Pujari
** If any one is late, he/she will have to wait for the judges’ call.
** Any others rules(if any) will be communicated before the competition
** Winner’s name will be declared in pujari Web and FB page. Prize distribution will be held on 15^th April at Hendricks Middle School
